Customer Care Representative – Hempel A/S We’re looking for a dynamic Customer Care Representative to join our team at Hempel A/S. Note: Proficiency in both verbal and written English and Portuguese is required for this role. Applicants must also reside near São Gonçalo. What You Need To Be Successful In This Role Manage inquiries from key customers, including quotations, order placement, order tracking, delivery status updates, product information, and more. Handle and resolve customer complaints in a professional and timely manner. Ensure the accuracy and maintenance of customer master data. Manage end-to-end cross-border sales orders within the ERP system, including facilitating on-time delivery, handling product substitutions, and processing invoices. Oversee end-to-end return order management. Maintain proactive outbound and inbound communication with customers. Support and/or lead the resolution of non-technical customer complaints. Assist in maintaining and updating customer data records." Collaborate frequently with the commercial organization regarding order status and fulfillment. Monitor importation status to ensure timely delivery of products according to orders. Additional Non-Operational Tasks Promote and maintain a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to company Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies. Ensure compliance with both local and global regulations when processing orders. Provide backup support for freight management in accordance with BID requirements. Prepare and deliver reports on order status and performance. Perform any general tasks or activities related to the above functions as required by business needs. Adhere to all Hempel guidelines and procedures related to Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE). Collaboration Work closely with internal Customer Care teams, both locally and globally. Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including Sales, Commercial Excellence, Finance, Technical Services, and Logistics. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience. 1–2 years of experience in a customer care role, ideally within an order-to-cash environment. Proficiency in both verbal and written English and Portuguese is required. Must reside near São Gonçalo. Applications must be submitted in English to be considered. Work Schedule: This position follows a hybrid schedule, with on-site work Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and remote work on Mondays and Fridays.
