NOV Subsea Production Systems (NOV SPS) designs and manufactures flexible pipes and innovative products for the offshore oil and gas industry. With operations in Denmark (Brøndby and Kalundborg) and Brazil (Rio de Janeiro and Açu Port), we leverage advanced engineering and state-of-the-art manufacturing technology to deliver subsea equipment to global contractors and oil companies. To strengthen our commitment to operational excellence, we are looking for a Project Quality and Risk Engineer to join our team in Brazil and support our projects with high standards of quality and risk management. Your New RoleAs a Project Quality and Risk Engineer , you will play a central role in ensuring that engineering projects comply with industry regulations, quality standards, and company policies, while proactively identifying and mitigating project risks. This position bridges project management, quality assurance, and risk management, making you a key contributor to project reliability, efficiency, and success. Your key responsibilities will include: Leading and supporting risk assessments to identify potential impacts on operations. Developing and implementing mitigation plans and monitoring their effectiveness. Supporting contingency planning and maintaining accurate risk documentation. Collaborating with engineering, procurement, and other teams to integrate quality and risk management across all project phases. Developing and implementing project-specific Quality Management Plans (QMP). Conducting audits, inspections, and quality checks to ensure compliance with standards. Providing training and awareness sessions on quality and risk procedures. Preparing reports and communicating results to stakeholders across disciplines. About YouWe are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic and collaborative environment. To succeed in this role, you should bring a mix of technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and strong communication skills. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Production, or related fields). Certification as a Risk Management Professional (CRMP by PMI) is an advantage. Experience: Experience with fabrication processes, identifying and minimizing operational risks. Background in quality assurance, supporting project requirements and managing non-conformities. Familiarity with quality regulations, industry standards, and compliance. Hands-on experience with risk assessment tools, quality tools, and root cause analyses. Skills & Knowledge: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills. Problem-solving mindset, adaptability, and resilience. Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards (auditor certifications are a plus). Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power BI). Professional English skills, written and spoken.
