Overview Senior Enterprise Security Architect role at Akamai Technologies. The role sits at the heart of the sales process, acting as the technical evangelist to support customers with the adoption of Akamai products and services, and to demonstrate the value of solutions to help close sales. Responsibilities Own, shape, and run proof-of-concepts, beta programs, and pre-sales activities with customers and partner teams Dive into enterprise architecture discovery and hands-on software configuration Strategize with and assist customers as they move to more agile, secure, identity-centric security models Take a consultative approach to solutions and address challenges around next-generation security transformation Educate and enable internal teams and partners regarding Enterprise solution portfolios to motivate effective sales strategies Influence product roadmaps and ensure inclusion of customer business priorities and requirements Qualifications 10-12 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent Experience in large, complex customer-facing environments with responsibility for the technical sales cycle Residence in Brazil with Advanced English Knowledge of network security, SIEM, SOAR, EDR, XDR, endpoint protection, firewalls, and other cybersecurity concepts Expertise with Zero Trust concepts and technologies (Network Security, SASE/SSE, ZTNA, Microsegmentation) Understanding of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI) and cloud-native technologies (Microservices, Kubernetes) Work and Benefits FlexBase, Akamai’s Global Flexible Working Program, provides employees with the choice to work from home, office, or both, with options discussed with the recruiter.
