**Head of Fragrance Science & Technology LATAM, your future role?**

- Working on-site in our corporate offices in Sao Paulo, and reporting to the Head of Global Fragrance Technology, you will join a team of passionate shapers of the best fragrances in the world.
- As the Head of Science & Technology for our Fragrance business in Latam, you will lead an accomplished and developed team of researchers and fragrance experts. Your mission will be to provide comprehensive technical, analytical, and sensory support to our Commercial and Development communities in the region, making an important contribution to deliver innothe best products to our customers and to consolidate Givaudan's market leadership.
- Your main responsibilities will be:
- Lead the LATAM Science & Technology team, with a focus on their integration and development.
- Manage and help implement our fragrance technologies portfolio in the region.
- Provide expert knowledge and advice on the available and new fragrance technologies to our Sales and Product Development teams.
- Provide support to Sales, Product Development, and our customers on the implementation of our Technology portfolio.
- Research and propose original ways to combine existing technologies to create fragrance solutions.
- Gather and analyze relevant information across the region; share insights with global teams.
- Collect and consolidate technical competitive intelligence in the region.
- Manage the library of available technology demos and presentations.
- Be the main technical contact point for our main customers.
- Provide customer presentations and demonstrations that showcase how technologies add benefit to fragrances.
- Facilitate technology assessment and implementation in a customer context.
- Align with Global Analytical and Sensory best practices.
- Promote and embed EHS guidelines / best practices.

- Your professional profile requires:
- University degree in relevant scientific discipline, such as Chemical Engineering or similar, with a PhD or equivalent.
- At least 10 years of experience in Research & Development/Science & Technology function in the fragrance industry, with 5 years at a senior leadership role in a multicultural and international environment.
- Experience of fragrance sciences.
- Project management experience.
- Fluent level of English, Spanish and Portuguese.
- Creativity, curiosity, leadership, autonomy and a business focus are some of the necessary soft skills for the role.
