What you will doDevelop, maintain, and enhance web applications using Node.js and Vue.js; Expose and manage various APIs to support core business functions; Handle key areas of the business, including inventory management, order processing, and product data handling; Synchronize with external Customer Service services to ensure seamless operations; Maintain and expose APIs for internal and external use; Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to deliver high-quality software solutions; Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability; Ensure data integrity and security across platforms. QualificationsMust have – Proven experience leading teams; 5+ years of development experience in Frontend; 3+ years of development experience in Vue.js ; 3+ years of development experience in Node.js ; Experience with RESTful API design and implementation is required; Demonstrated experience in integrating third-party APIs; Experience with database technologies, including MySQL and MongoDB ; Knowledge of AWS services for cloud-based applications; Experience with Redis for caching and data storage; Familiarity with API development and integration; Strong understanding of software development best practices, including code versioning and testing; Upper-Intermediate English level. NICE TO HAVESYou have experience working with accessibility standards; You are passionate about writing clean, modern, maintainable, & highly-performant code; You have a pro-active ability and a self-starter attitude to troubleshoot and solve problems; You have experience working in an Agile environment; You have strong communication skills with excellent interpersonal effectiveness, in one-on-one interactions and presenting to a room; You have self-awareness and a desire to continually improve.
