Responsibilities and Qualifications 4+ years of experience with Laravel, specifically Laravel 8 and above, demonstrating a deep understanding of the framework's architectureli> Expertise in MySQL database performance optimization, with a proven ability to identify and resolve complex database bottlenecks. Strong hands‑on experience in writing, optimizing, and debugging complex SQL queries, including EXPLAIN plans, indexing strategies, and query rewriting techniques. Proficiency with database schema design and normalization/denormalization strategies for scalability and data integrity. Experience with Eloquent ORM and Laravel Query Builder, with a clear understanding of how to optimize generated SQL. Experience working in complex, large‑scale multitenant SaaS applications. Solid experience with Laravel Authentication and implementing robust security practices. Experience with testing tools such as PestPHP and PHPUnit to ensure code quality. Proficiency in designing and implementing robust, scalable RESTful APIs in Laravel. ReactJS experience is a plus. Ability to take extreme ownership of work, meeting estimates and process expectations. Alignment with Bluelight's client goals and commitment to delivering on commitments.
