Position Boeing Brazil is seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager, reporting to the Electrical and Electronics Senior Manager, working out of the São José Dos Campos office. Position Responsibilities Manage a team of Engineers in the development, validation, verification, integration and certification. Be responsible for overall planning, execution and success of complex projects. Partner closely with suppliers to establish project plans and manage team execution. Maintain resource and skill forecasts to meet project and daily operating requirements. Manage employees performing engineering and technical tasks in the BCA Airplane Systems engineering areas. Develop and execute project and process plans, implement policies and procedures, and set operational goals. Coordinate engagement with BCA engineering counterparts located at USA sites. Acquire resources for projects and processes, including budget and staffing. Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports. Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes. Provide oversight and approval of approaches to compliance with regulatory requirements and certification processes. Lead and foster process improvements. Develop and maintain a culture of seeking to understand, courage to speak up, active listening and servant leadership to manage, develop, and motivate employees. Basic Qualifications Must have existing rights to work in Brazil. Must have a degree in Engineering. Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (CREA). Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language. Experience in a management or leadership role. Experience in Electrical engineering. Preferred Qualifications Experience in the development, integration, and verification of electrical systems. Master’s Degree in an engineering related field or Business Administration (MBA). Experience in requirements management and system safety assessment/functional hazard assessment methodology. Experience working within a regulated industry. Experience with or desire to learn and implement more Model-Based Engineering (MBE) / Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methods. Additional Information Hybrid work model; selected candidate required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.
