ABOUT WHIRLPOOL CORPORATION
**The team you will be a part of**:
- The Engineering team discovers, develops and evaluates new product ideas, enhancements, or strategic product extensions, and translates research discoveries into usable and marketable products. Leads, plans and tracks all phases of the product life cycle, from inception to introduction into the marketplace. Coordinates with various functions to ensure successful product development and implementation.

- ** Drive the team to robust and critical project approach.**
**Your responsibilities will include**:
- **Define the right project strategy by driving discussions with the main internal and external stakeholders;**:
- ** Clarify and agree on project scope and targets ( Cost, Quality, Schedule);**:
- ** Drive strong project plan integration with internal and external stakeholders (Product R&D, Procurement, IT, Manufacturing, Service, etc );**:
- ** Alignment and agreement on gates,milestones and expectations;**:
- ** Drive robust gates and System reviews management;**:
- ** Scale Whirlpool Product Development process according to the project needs;**:
- ** Ensure robust approach to gates and milestones;**:
- ** Make sure that all the aspects of the project will be properly investigated and documented;**:
- ** System cost, Quality, Project Plan;**:
- ** Risks and Knowledge Gaps management;**:
- ** Identification/Mitigation/Review/Monitoring/Control with the help of the company Subject Matter Experts (SMEs);**:
- ** Document project scope, cross functional reviews, and monthly routine review documentation;**:
- ** Deliver projects with positive KPIs for each project milestone;**:
- ** Drive the team through correct ANDON system approach;**:
- ** Drive robust change requests.**
**Minimum requirements**:
- **Degree on Electronics, Electrical or Computer Engineering with experience on electronics;**:
- ** More than 6 years of proven experience in a product development role;**:
- ** Project management;**:
- ** Home appliances product knowledge (how it works, components, system);**:
- ** Fluency in English;**:
- ** System design & integration;**:
- ** Base level: Exceptional problem solving approach;**:
- ** Technical review abilities;**:
- ** Leadership skills, ability to work cross-functionally and influence others;**:
- ** Good communication and negotiation skills;**:
- ** Exceptional teamwork approach;**:
- ** Motivator;**:
- ** Build trust internally and with external stakeholders;**:
- ** Ability to run through Electronic and Electrical System (EES) Whirlpool Product Development (WPD) process, SI functions and their interaction with EES subsystems and external stakeholders.**
**Preferred skills and experiences**:
- **Familiarity with lean approach;**:
- ** Project management experience with multiple sub systems involved;**:
- ** PMI certification (not mandatory);**:
- ** Lean Six Sigma (OPEX) certification (not mandatory).**
