We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer (Node.js + React) with strong leadership skills to drive the modernization of a critical enterprise platform. In this role, you will help transition from legacy systems to a modern TypeScript-based stack, guide system architecture, and mentor a cross-functional engineering team. This position offers the opportunity to lead high-impact initiatives within a collaborative remote-first environment. If you enjoy balancing hands-on development with technical leadership, and want to help shape scalable systems used across global markets, this role is for you.
What to Expect in This Role
Lead a full-stack team focused on real-time, customer-facing platforms
Guide architectural decisions and define overall technical direction
Develop scalable applications using Node.js, React, and TypeScript
Balance hands-on coding with leadership and mentoring responsibilities
Collaborate with remote teams across Latin and North America
Drive DevOps practices including CI/CD, testing, and cloud infrastructure
Work closely with product and design teams to deliver impactful solutions
Uphold engineering best practices and foster team growth
Manage progress, mitigate risks, and report effectively to stakeholders
Requirements
8+ years of experience in software development
3+ years in a technical leadership or staff engineer role
Advanced knowledge of Node.js, React, TypeScript, and RESTful APIs
Experience with Docker, AWS, CI/CD, and SQL/PostgreSQL
Fluency in English (written and spoken) for daily remote collaboration
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
Nice to Have
Experience with Next.js 14/15 (App Router, Server Components)
Familiarity with Storybook, Radix UI, or similar design systems
Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Recharts, Victory, or D3
Backend experience with NestJS, Fastify, TypeORM, or GraphQL
Deployment via Vercel, Netlify, or AWS services (S3 + CloudFront)
Exposure to AWS ECS, Lambda, or EKS
Interest or hands-on experience with AI/LLMs, automation, or NLP workflows
