We are currently looking for an open-minded and enquiring person for the position of:

Software Engineer

Location: Colombo

Key responsibilities:

  • Participation in the full process of creating software in the IFS App/Cloud systems
  • Creating software solutions for the individual needs of our clients
  • Integration of IFS App/Cloud with the third-party software or services
  • Development and optimization of tools for the retail and productions branches
  • Supporting the implementation team in designing new solutions in IFS App/Cloud
  • Creating solutions for our presales team through poc (proof of concept) projects
  • Development and support in maintaining solutions already delivered to a client which includes areas of Business Analytics, B2B, CRM, Finance, Sales, Production, Project Management
  • Making programming documentation and test scenarios
  • Support other team members and provide cross-team expertise

Our expectations:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience with IFS App/Cloud framework (IFS Cloud is preferred) is crucial
  • 2 years of commercial experience is an advantage
  • Good knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL
  • Good knowledge of relational databases
  • Proficiency in object-oriented programming and one of C#/Java languages
  • Excellent English command
  • Analytical and teamwork skills
  • Knowledge of Crystal Reports or Jaspersoft is also welcome
