We are looking for Communications Specialist who wants to learn and transform his career
The Communication Specialist plays a vital role in managing and enhancing the communication channels within the IT department and between IT and other departments. The role involves creating, implementing, and maintaining effective communication strategies to promote clarity and efficiency in the dissemination of information. In addition, the specialist will translate complex technical aspects into content that is easy for the user to understand.
Responsibilities:
- Content Development : Develop and maintain IT communication materials, such as technical documentation, user manuals, FAQs, and newsletters.
- Project Management and Leadership : Lead projects and communication initiatives of the IT department, from planning to execution and evaluation. Manage a team of junior communication specialists.
- Strategy and Continuous Improvement : Develop and implement performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of communication strategies. Conduct regular systems audits and user feedback sessions to identify areas for improvement in communication tools.
- Technical Support and Tools : Provide technical support and troubleshooting for communication tools, ensuring minimal downtime9. Use communication tools such as SharePoint, Slack, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams.
- Coordination and Collaboration : Act as a liaison between the IT department and other departments. Coordinate with multiple teams to ensure consistency and accuracy of information.
- Administration and Documentation : Maintain records of communications and feedback. Prepare regular reports on the effectiveness of communication to senior management.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in IT communications or a related field.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in information technology, Communication or related field.
- Tool Proficiency: Knowledge of content management systems (CMS) and document management systems. Ability to use graphic design tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills19. Strong ability to influence and communicate.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Leadership: Proven experience in managing communication strategies and projects22. Ability to lead and guide a team.
- Adaptability: Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
