The Partner Account Manager recruits, enables, and manages partners (predominantly Solution Providers, GSI’s and Master Resellers) to ensure a successful and profitable partnership. This role works closely with Regional Alliance Directors, Regional Sales Directors, Partner Enablement Managers, and Partner Marketing Managers to build and execute partner business plans that include training, enablement, marketing, rules of engagement and go-to-market strategy, and to track and report progress.
As the Partner Account Manager for the region, you will have a significant impact on Qlik’s growth and success and will report directly to the Partner Sales Leadership of the region.
Responsibilities- Recruit, onboard and enable new partners, driving them to success in their relationship with Qlik.
- Work with regional leadership to build and nurture close relationships with assigned partners.
- Develop business plans with the Partner Marketing Manager (PMM) and Partner Enablement Manager (PEM) and support the overall business planning process.
- Manage the regional implementation, rollout, and execution of the Qlik Partner Network Program.
- Support marketing planning owned by the PMM for assigned partners.
- Drive and execute enablement programs for partners in collaboration with the PEM.
- Enable partners regarding the Partner Portal and PRM (Lead and Opportunity registration) usage to manage their pipeline, in coordination with the regional Sales Operations Team.
- Prepare and present quarterly “state of the partner” updates, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and assessments for all assigned partners.
- Serve as go-to resource for partner questions, concerns, or issues; own partner-related requests until resolution.
- Participate in marketing events with partners when requested.
- Target, recruit and develop new partners within the assigned territory; manage inbound partner inquiries.
- Manage and process contracts and renewals with partners; assist partners in developing and managing small deals.
- Collaborate with partners and the sales team on sales forecasts.
- Collaborate with the Sales Team within the assigned territory.
- Strong business acumen on tactical and strategic levels; excellent communication, listening, presentation, and writing skills.
- Experience in delivering workshops and trainings; ability to prioritize activities and negotiate effectively.
- Outgoing, personable, organized with a strong will to succeed; thrives in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills; ability to navigate channel conflicts professionally.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders and delivering in a matrix environment; ability to build executive-level partner relationships.
- 10+ years of experience managing partners, resellers, and/or system integrators in Latin America; track record of revenue achievement with resellers (data management, BI or vertical solutions preferred).
- Knowledge of Data Management, BI or vertical solutions partners within the territory (preferred).
- Understanding of Partner Programs and contracts; self-starter who can work independently within a matrix organization; highly engaged with partner management and pre-sales teams.
- Strong ability to educate and demo the Qlik platform; Salesforce.com experience is a plus.
- Bachelor degree required; Master’s degree or MBA advantageous.
- Fluent English required; fluent Spanish highly desired.
