Overview Full Stack Engineer (Senior/Lead) ID41207 – AgileEngine is an Inc. 5000 company that creates award-winning software for Fortune 500 brands and startups across 17+ industries. We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer (Ruby on Rails + React) to join our fast-paced, collaborative team. You’ll work closely with product owners, designers, QA, and developers to build solutions that drive business impact, participating in all stages of product development from concept to release and iteration. With an entrepreneurial mindset, you’ll run experiments, leverage metrics to guide decisions, and help evolve our applications and internal tools to create better experiences for customers and teammates. What You Will Do Develop and maintain robust, scalable solutions using Ruby on Rails, React, and GraphQL; Lead the product development process in collaboration with Product, Design, Analytics, and other stakeholders; Build polished, high-touch user interfaces; Design and implement scalable solutions; Enhance 3D modeling integrations, data processing pipelines, and interactive property models; Improve existing code through refactoring and optimization; Collaborate with engineers to architect reliable systems; Ensure high-quality code delivery through unit and end-to-end testing; Continuously improve development processes and system performance; Make a measurable impact on user experience for construction and skilled trades customers; The project duration is 6 months. Must Haves 5+ years of experience in full-stack development, with strong backend expertise in Ruby on Rails and frontend in React; Experience with building RESTful architectures and/or GraphQL APIs, designing efficient, scalable, and secure interfaces for internal and external use; Proficiency in cloud-based environments (e.g., AWS or Google Cloud) and experience building scalable applications that support complex workflows; Working hours: Most of the team works Pacific Time. Ideally, some overlap between 8 AM – 4 PM PT, but not a strict requirement; Upper-Intermediate English level. NICE TO HAVES Experience with Java, C# development; product growth and lifecycle management: experience building and growing products from initial launch through maturity, with focus on improving, scaling, and evolving the product to better serve users and meet business objectives; Technical leadership experience: ability to take features from concept through planning, development, testing, and final delivery; Team leadership experience, guiding engineers to challenge the status quo and deliver innovative solutions; Engineering-driven mindset: experience in an engineering-driven organization where engineers share ownership of wins and losses alongside product; Cross-functional collaboration: experience with Product, Design, Analytics, and Legal to meet business and regulatory requirements; Ownership mentality: commitment to taking full responsibility for features from design to deployment and maintaining quality in production.
