Senior Server Administrator Position

We are seeking an experienced professional to work remotely as a senior server administrator.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing Tableau servers, including setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.

  • Setup and configure Tableau servers on various on-prem and cloud platforms
  • Manage user permissions, security, and access within Tableau environments
  • Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize dashboards

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, written and verbal, and be able to explain complex problems effectively.

Preferred qualifications include knowledge of SQL and relational databases, scripting languages, and cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Connect Tableau to different data sources and extract data from these sources
  • Experience with server upgrades and parameter changes
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of IT experience
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience managing Tableau Servers
  • Strong understanding of Tableau architecture
  • Knowledge of Tableau Server features
  • Excellent stakeholder communication skills
