About the Role A Backend Engineer is needed to join our fast-growing telemedicine platform and help design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend systems. This is a hands-on role where you will take ownership of critical services, develop new features, and ensure the stability and efficiency of our backend architecture. You’ll work with PHP, Laravel, PostgreSQL, and AWS, collaborating closely with frontend, QA, product, and DevOps teams to deliver seamless, high-quality healthcare solutions. In this role, you’ll make architectural decisions, implement performance optimizations, and support integration with third-party APIs. You will also be responsible for debugging complex issues, automating tests, and improving CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast and reliable releases. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, remote-first environment and enjoys working across teams to create scalable systems that directly impact patient care.
