In support of this mission, the Fundraising Officer – Legacies will lead the strategic planning and execution of legacy fundraising initiatives in Brazil, including wills, life insurance, and memorial donations. This role aims to strengthen long-term income generation and enhance donor lifetime value (LTV), contributing to UNICEF’s sustainable resource mobilization. How can you make a difference Working as part of the Individual Giving Fundraising team and under the close supervision of the Individual Fundraising Specialist, you will be responsible for leading the strategic planning, development, and implementation of fundraising activities through Legacy. Responsibilities Develop and implement the annual work plan and budget for activities related to the Legacy strategy. Identify and segment key audiences, develop relevant marketing messages and channel mix for each segment. Monitor strategies, produce reports on results, and analyze them. Plan and manage investment funds for the Legacy Donations Strategy (LIF investment funds, etc.) during the planned period. Design and execute the strategy for awareness, acquisition, and conversion of new donors through Digital channels, Mass media: Radio, TV, press, and Telemarketing. Develop the strategy for donor nurturing and loyalty through audience-centric content development, creation of engagement journeys, use of marketing automation tools, and result analysis (preferably knowledge in Salesforce and Marketing Cloud). Define and monitor KPIs for the digital strategy, web analytics, inbound marketing strategy, lead conversion strategies, SEO, and SEM. Business Intelligence: search, collection, and analysis of data and information about the Silver Generation in Brazil, to design specialized strategies and make data-driven decisions. Buyer persona, media and content affinity, types of retirees, lifestyle, trends, among others. Knowledge in developing corporate partnerships, negotiation with stakeholders and suppliers (digital agencies, content agencies, media, lawyers’ firms), networking, and building relationships that contribute to fundraising for Legacy Donations with the private sector. Develop good interpersonal and working relationships with suppliers, internal and external partners to ensure processes are streamlined, effective, and contribute to the overall goal of increasing revenue and promoting UNICEF Legacy Donations. Qualifications Education: University degree in marketing, communications, business, or similar fields Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in leadership roles in partnership development or project management related to marketing, sales, or other business-related activities and social development activities, including practical professional work experience in marketing teams, digital campaigns. Experience in managing budgets and expenses for large-scale project delivery. Experience in conducting marketing campaigns through radio and television. Desirable: Previous experience in fundraising and/or specifically in legacy and inheritance fundraising. Solid experience in working with new business development, partnership development, fundraising, sales and/or negotiation with companies. Proven track record in writing clear and concise texts for marketing materials. Experience in international organization and/or NGO. Language Requirements: Fluency in English and Portuguese is required. Knowledge of Spanish will be considered as an asset.
