The Role As Data API Product Manager , you will shape the Concur Platform product vision and roadmap, and partner closely with cross‑functional teams to define and deliver the next generation of managed API solutions. As a product manager you will become a domain expert, and will be responsible for overall API usage guidance, prioritization and stakeholder communication. In this role, you work closely with an incredible team of engineers, architects, data analysts, platform specialists, client and partner enablement teams to conceive, define and deliver world‑class API utilization and telemetry solutions. Responsibilities Drive the success, quality, cost management and delivery of API usage and telemetry solutions through the entire API product lifecycle Responsible for product management of API operational initiatives and metrics that will shape existing and future SAP APIs Conduct usage analysis and API design reviews for the initiatives you own Build a roadmap based on the needs of the Platform team, internal teams, our partners and customers, incorporating on‑going analysis of our best‑in‑class platform Prioritize and describe the API deployment issues & backlog Ensure definition of high‑quality specifications according to internal requirements Ensure delivery of high‑quality solutions pursuant to internal requirements, including the completion of tests and validations of planned scope Work with your team to build, launch, implement and support the solutions delivered Stay current with industry trends related to API management, metrics and reporting. Support, communicate and advocate for new API features, development practices, delivery mechanisms, process improvements Incorporate customer and partner feedback, input from Solution Management and Partner Enablement teams and analytics into specific API categories Work across product and engineering teams to facilitate the launch and release of new API utilization, reporting and monitoring solutions Build meaningful and productive relationships with platform and product team members and stakeholders Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience; MBA or equivalent education Solid experience with product management experience with cloud, enterprise SaaS products, API platforms, data analytic platforms and solutions Experience owning roadmaps and driving delivery of solutions through the entire product lifecycle Strong knowledge of travel and expense management and domain expertise, preferred Ability to work both independently and within a highly collaborative agile methodology Excellent leadership and communication skills (written and verbal), good problem‑solving skills, ability to work with technical and non‑technical teams Experience leading large, diverse, and cross‑functional teams Ability to lead by example, collaborate, advocate for different viewpoints and influence without direct authority Business English : fluent We build breakthroughs together We win with inclusion SAP's culture of inclusion, focus on health and well‑being, and flexible working models help ensure that everyone - regardless of background - feels included and can run at their best.
