Job DescriptionBESIX is looking for a Technical Office Engineer to reinforce it's team in Brazil (Navegantes) for an important and challenging quay wall project.
Your role:
Plan, execute, monitor and control yourwork package. Responsible to ensure that the site is supplied with all documentation, methods and materials needed to carry out the works; Prepare the construction method statements, drawings, job safety analysis, risk assessments, lifting plans and inspection and test plans, for permanent works and temporary works where applicable. Follow up on the permanent and temporary works design and coordination this with the site; Lead in the planning activities for your scope of work, interfacing with the Planner and Technical Manager. Preparation of Material take-off, Requests for Quotation and Purchase Requests for subcontracts and materials required for the construction activities. Coordination with subcontractors and suppliers and assist in the preparation of the work requisition/contract for the subcontracted works and Purchase Orders for material supplies; Prepare technical and commercial comparison sheets of offers received from the subcontractors and suppliers, and follow up of the subcontracted works and material supplies, including the-
