Starting Wage Position Overview
Plans resources from resin, formaldehyde and wax production processes for a specific operational region in the plant network based on business guidelines and policies. Supports the manufacturing process in a team-based culture, as well as integrates the process of planning, delivering and tracking execution, as well as managing the relationships, needs and information flow between the S&OE, S&OP process and the production team. In addition, it is responsible for executing the procurement strategy and contracts as negotiated by the Purchasing area for the material(s) of a specific operating region. Runs MRP in the SAP system as part of the material purchasing process. Manages and reports all process exceptions to the Demand Planning Supervisor, Supply Chain Manager and operations personnel. Collaborates with industry indicators. Communicate with commodity buyers, operations and supply chain management, as well as support the S&OP process by providing metrics for your individual region. Ensures compliance with all rules, internal and external procedures, obeying HEXION's general and human resources policies.
Job Responsibilities
Perform production scheduling and sequencing
Inform the Customer Service area when there is any restriction on customer service.
Negotiate orders that cannot be fulfilled on the requested date with Customer Service.
Keep up with demand changes.
Report demand information as needed.
Identify and suggest improvements in the production process.
Collaborate with the raw material planning process.
Region MRP.
Competencies Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Production Engineering, Chemical Engineering or similar areas.
Minimum of 2 years in manufacturing, logistics and/or production scheduling.
Informatics / Office / SAP
Advanced English
Customer focus, effective communication, engagement, teamwork, focus on results, proactivity, organization and discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
Graduate degree in administration, logistics or engineering.
