2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants Job Description The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for inside sales lead generation. The SDR is tasked with sourcing sales leads that support and enhance ABS businesses. In order to ensure success, the SDR will use multiple methods of sourcing and partner with the various business development team members and leaders to accomplish broader goals. The SDR will provide input to marketing and operations on go‑to‑market plans, improving customer interaction/satisfaction, expanding to new markets, and improving financial performance. What You Will Do Contact prospective customers to introduce products and services, explain product features, and schedule client meetings for Account Managers (AM). Select appropriate AM to recommend products and services to customers, based on customers’ needs and interests. Convince others to buy products and services or to otherwise change their minds or actions. Communicate with people outside the organization, representing the organization to customers, the public, government, and other external sources via in‑person, written, social media, telephone, or e‑mail. Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintain them over time. Observe, receive, research, and otherwise obtain information from all relevant sources. Provide information to supervisors, co‑workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e‑mail, or in person. What You Will Need Education and Experience: Requires a Bachelor’s degree or recognized equivalent. One (1) to three (3) years of related experience preferred. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services (needs assessment, meeting quality standards, evaluating satisfaction). Entrepreneurial mentality that enables the incumbent to recognize and capitalize on new business opportunities. Results‑driven mindset. Ability to assess reasonableness and likelihood of success of various business scenarios. Commitment to ethical business practices in accordance with ABS Operating Principles and Mission. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to speak well in group and client‑facing environments. Fluent English for professional communication. Knowledge of ABS Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management Systems. Reporting Relationships Reports to a manager‑level position or above; has no direct reports.
