As Associate Data Scientist, you will be responsible for data wrangling, exploratory analysis, hypothesis testing and building machine learning models. You will also be responsible for working with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data analytics initiatives.**Essential Functions**:- Design, create, test, and implement models and algorithms that drive analytical solutions throughout the organization.- Conduct statistical and other analyses to provide actionable insights, identify trends, and measure performance.- Collaborate with business analysts and understand business problems.- Structure data insight communications- Has intermediate knowledge in data science and statistics.- Create data-driven business insights.- Provide support to ensure alignment with the COE strategy.- Participates in small projects. Contributes to process improvements. Responsible for the execution of main activities or staff to obtain important results.- Create a structured, organized, readable and reusable code/analysis.- Performs a variety of complex and non-complex tasks. Problems may require analysis to understand. Supports the delivery of solutions to complex problems where precedent may not exist.**Requirements**:- Bachelor or post graduate degree in STEM field- Experience programming languages like Python or R- Good understanding of mathematical and statistical concepts- Prior experience as an intern is a plus- Experience in visualizations tools to create reports.- Database experience is a plus.- Creative & innovative thinking; demonstrating drive to solve problems.- Strong work ethics.
