Overview Bluelight is a leading software consultancy dedicated to designing and developing innovative technology that enhances users' lives. We are looking for a skilled Laravel and React Developer (Latin America, Remote position) to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to challenging, meaningful projects and grow within a collaborative environment across the United States and Central/South America. Responsibilities Develop and maintain applications using Laravel (8+) with Eloquent ORM, Laravel Authentication, and Laravel Query Builder. Build frontend components with React, Vue.js, or Laravel Livewire; integrate Inertia.js and RESTful APIs. Write and maintain tests using Pest PHP, PHPUnit, Laravel Dusk, and Playwright. Collaborate with clients to understand goals and deliver on commitments; take ownership of work and meet estimates and processes. Follow best practices, maintain code quality, and contribute to continuous learning. Qualifications 4+ years of experience with Laravel, specifically Laravel 8 and above. Experience with Eloquent ORM, Laravel Authentication, Laravel Query Builder. Experience with testing tools such as Pest PHP, PHPUnit, Laravel Dusk, Playwright. Experience with Inertia.js and RESTful APIs in Laravel. Frontend development experience (React, Vue.js, Laravel Livewire, etc.). Tailwind CSS experience is a bonus. Ability to take extreme ownership and align with Bluelight's clients' goals. Positive mindset and can-do attitude; forensic attention to detail.
