Overview

Bluelight is a leading software consultancy dedicated to designing and developing innovative technology that enhances users' lives. We are looking for a skilled Laravel and React Developer (Latin America, Remote position) to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to challenging, meaningful projects and grow within a collaborative environment across the United States and Central/South America.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain applications using Laravel (8+) with Eloquent ORM, Laravel Authentication, and Laravel Query Builder.
  • Build frontend components with React, Vue.js, or Laravel Livewire; integrate Inertia.js and RESTful APIs.
  • Write and maintain tests using Pest PHP, PHPUnit, Laravel Dusk, and Playwright.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand goals and deliver on commitments; take ownership of work and meet estimates and processes.
  • Follow best practices, maintain code quality, and contribute to continuous learning.
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience with Laravel, specifically Laravel 8 and above.
  • Experience with Eloquent ORM, Laravel Authentication, Laravel Query Builder.
  • Experience with testing tools such as Pest PHP, PHPUnit, Laravel Dusk, Playwright.
  • Experience with Inertia.js and RESTful APIs in Laravel.
  • Frontend development experience (React, Vue.js, Laravel Livewire, etc.).
  • Tailwind CSS experience is a bonus.
  • Ability to take extreme ownership and align with Bluelight's clients' goals.
  • Positive mindset and can-do attitude; forensic attention to detail.
