With a strong presence across APAC, including branches in Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Philippines, Taiwan and Indonesia, Turkey, Indian, we are at the forefront of advancing healthcare through cutting‑edge genetic testing. Our product, Spot‑MAS, is a revolutionary cancer detection test that leverages advanced genetic technologies to provide early and accurate detection of cancer. Position Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results‑oriented Business Development Manager to lead the expansion and growth of our business, with a primary focus on Brazil, LATAM. This role is crucial in driving market penetration, establishing and maintaining strategic partnerships, and ensuring the successful adoption of our innovative genetic testing technologies. Responsibilities Market Expansion: Identify and develop new market opportunities in Brazil, LATAM, with a focus on establishing a strong market presence and increasing market share. Strategic Partnerships: Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with healthcare providers, diagnostic centers, and key stakeholders to enhance product distribution and adoption. Sales & Revenue Growth: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, ensuring long‑term success and profitability. Market Analysis and Strategy: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to understand customer needs, competitor activities, and industry trends in the region, translating insights into actionable business strategies. Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to effectively position Gene Solutions' products in the market, tailoring messaging and strategies to local needs. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all business development activities comply with local regulatory requirements and ethical standards in the biotech and healthcare industries. Cross‑functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including R&D, marketing, and operations, to build up the local business operation workflow. Reporting & Forecasting: Provide regular reports on business development activities, market conditions, and sales forecasts to senior management. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in biotechnology, life sciences, or a related field. An MBA is preferred. Experience: At least 5–7 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the biotech or healthcare industry. Preferred: Experience in genomics and molecular diagnostics. Skills Strong B2B sales and BD experience. Proven track record of driving sales growth and market expansion in a competitive environment. Strong negotiation and relationship‑building skills. Ability to analyze complex data and market trends to inform business decisions. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Knowledge of the LATAM healthcare market is highly desirable.
