Hitachi Energy Transformers - Business Solutions IT Organization is seeking a Application Specialist who will provide overall support to the (Global/ HUB/Factory) BST IT team to drive value and business growth to the business.
**Job Role Overview**:
As an Application Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our product customization processes. Your responsibilities encompass both configuration governance and master data management.
**Your Responsibilities**:
- Application and software design, in order to provide product solutions for specific business needs
- Design a product solution in line with specifications given by Solution Architect, Application Manager and business users
- Provide trainings for the business users
**Your Experience**:
- Experience in IT Applications Management and Service Delivery in multinational companies
- Experience and ability to work with virtual delivery teams as well as distributed stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering or business management
- Advanced English is required
- Experience in one or more coding languages (e.g. Javascript, C++, Python, Java. Specify the languages relevant to the role)
- Experience with development platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, Salesforce, Pega, Docker, Kubernetes. Specify the languages relevant to the role)
- Understanding of software development lifecycles
- Strong ability to understand context for code, the codebase, and its relation to business objectives.
- Exceptional analytical abilities for navigating intricate data structures.
- Demonstrated excellence in project management.
- ITIL 4 Preferred
- L6S Lean 6 Sigma Certified
