**PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES**
Product Unit Language Experience Lab is responsible for translation of products in SAP supported languages. There are many tools which help us in accomplishing our business, however Language Experience Lab will venture into new age solution for Translation which will be a cloud based.
**EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS**
- Managing the product backlog of the development scrum team
- Interacting closely with the development team
- Acting as the primary contact for stakeholders
- Aligning product goals with the Language Platform product team
- Cooperating with the line manager to create a sustainable implementation team
- Able to envision the final product and see your vision through to completion.
- Open to innovation and change.
- A leader and a team player.
- You give guidance to others while making decisions based on close collaboration with and buy-in from a team of experts. You are accountable for WHAT, while the development team is accountable for HOW.
- You are the interface to different stakeholders with a variety of backgrounds, job roles, and objectives. You can understand these different points of view, set priorities, and empathize with team members and stakeholders.
- You are responsible for a small part of a bigger product and must be interested in the overall product. You are ready to accept cross functional responsibilities.
**EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES**
- Profound understanding of agile development roles and methodologies.
- Familiarity with agile development, continuous delivery, DevOps, and quality engineering.
- Excellent organizational, communication, collaboration, interpersonal, analytical, and technical skills as described above.
- Experience of cloud technology.
- Understanding of cloud software architecture and microservices.
- Ability to grasp new concepts and evolving technologies quickly.
- Fluent in English.
**WORK EXPERIENCE**
- Strong experience in the software industry in the role of product owner, developer or architect.
- Working experience in a multi-cultural environment
- Working experience in managing features across globally distributed development teams
