Cloud Finops Data Analyst

**_Role Overview:_**:
McAfee is looking for a Cloud FinOps Analyst to be part of the Cloud Business Office. This role will support financial forecasting, chargeback, consumption analysis, and reporting. We are looking for someone that is passionate about cloud and eager to help take our company to a new level of cloud capability. You will report to the Technology Services Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who's passionate about finance, cloud, and data.
**_ About the Job:_**
- Support monthly cloud processes related to consumption and chargeback.
- Partner with business unit leads throughout the organization to help cost model and forecast new projects.
- Report on cloud consumption and cost to quickly detect, investigate, and bring up anomalies and spikes.
- Consistently analyze and report cloud billing usage and trends.
- Provide recommendations on how to optimize spending across our cloud providers.
- Design, develop, and maintain reports and KPIs that provide visibility on consumption and spending across multiple clouds.- Act as a liaison between the Cloud Operations and IT Finance teams, providing guidance on cloud KPIs and best practice recommendations for an optimized cloud cost structure.- Partner with Business Intelligence (BI) to assess and deliver reporting and analytic needs of internal stakeholders**_
About You:_**
- Your background includes 5+ years of Cloud FinOps experience or a related analytical field.
- Your background includes 3+ years working with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Experience in developing cost models and business cases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (required).
- Proficient in coding against APIs such as REST interfaces.
- Basic knowledge of cloud services in AWS, GCP, and Azure, utilizing native cloud cost management.
- Ability to develop dynamic dashboards using data analytics tools such as PowerBI, Google Big Query, GSuite products, etc.
