Spanish language skills are a plus.Director, Field Engineering - LATAMReporting to the Sr. Director of Field Engineering for Latin America, the Director, Field Engineering will lead a team of pre-sales Managers and Solutions Architects, focusing on strategic and enterprise accounts. You will expand and develop a dynamic team experienced in enterprise software, big data/analytics, data engineering, and data science. Your experience partnering with the sales organization will help close revenue opportunities with the right approach whilst coaching new sales and pre-sales team members to work together. You will guide and get involved to enhance your team's effectiveness;
be an expert at communicating complex, business value-focused solutions;
support complex salescycles, and build relationships with key stakeholders in large corporations.The impact you will have:
Hire and manage first-line Managersand a growing team of technical pre-sales Solutions Architects.Build a collaborative culturewithin a rapid-growth team. 3+ years of second-line leadership experience, managing teams of 20+ individuals in a technical pre-sales environment.Relevant high-growth enterprise software pre-sales success with senior-level tenure at a reputable software company, servicingBrazil.Ability to elevate engagementwith a track record of driving large transactions and high-growth customers.Proven leadership abilityto influence, develop, and empower your team to achieve objectives with a team approach.Proven track record of transformational successand delivery of customer value.Track record of building strong ecosystemsof lucrative customer relationships and cross-functional partnerships (Sales, Engineering, Marketing).Experience in complex strategic accounts, generating $1M+ in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR).Knowledgeable in and passionate aboutdata-driven decisions, AI, and Cloud software models.Great at instituting processes for technical field members to improve efficiency.Native Portuguese speaker with professional fluency in English.
