We provide end-to-end project services and have delivered over 200 successful Murex projects across all major asset classes and sectors including investment banking, asset management, corporate treasury, and insurance. Whether you possess a background in finance, technology, or Mathematics, your experience in the capital markets industry would be of high interest to us.

Responsibilities

  • Be part of an embedment team supporting Murex application support/build activities:
  • Resolve daily FO issues related to functionality, valuation, and pricing.
  • Liaise with technical teams for issue resolution and enhancements.
  • Develop FO Business requirements aligned with project needs.
  • Manage Yield Curve, Products (IRD, CRD, EQD, FXD), and perform validation tasks.
  • Handle day-to-day project tasks and support existing teams with P&L, Market Data, and booking issues.
  • Analyze, propose, and develop solutions for project deliverables.
  • Monitor global market regulations and practices.
  • Conduct testing for deliverables and participate in release cycles (SIT/UAT).
  • Utilize financial derivatives knowledge and Murex expertise during implementation and upgrades.
  • Support pricing and structuring of complex financial products within trading domain.
  • Develop test cases and troubleshoot system issues.

Skills

Must have

  • At least 2+ years of experience with Murex FO functionalities/modules.
  • Over 1+ years in financial markets/IT business analysis.
  • Strong analytical, pricing, and FO skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and presentation skills.
  • Effective relationship-building skills.
  • Experience supporting FO users and resolving their issues.
  • Strong personality, logical and analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented, quick learner, self-starter.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.

Nice to have

  • BSc or higher in Finance, Mathematics, or related.
  • Experience with Murex implementations and upgrades.
  • Test management, trade lifecycle, and market data management knowledge.
  • SQL (Oracle/Sybase) and Unix commands familiarity.
  • Client focus, communication, teamwork, leadership, planning, and analytical decision-making skills.
