DIRECTOR – SYSTEMS MODERNIZATIONPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE DIRECTOR – SYSTEMS MODERNIZATION:
This role is responsible for aligning technology initiatives with business goals, maximizing the value of IT investments, and fostering an environment to drive innovation and digital transformation; leveraging understanding of both IT and business strategy to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.
REQUIRED FOR THE DIRECTOR – SYSTEMS MODERNIZATION:
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field; master's degree or MBA preferred.
10+ years of experience in IT or Business leadership roles, with a strong focus on ERP systems, particularly SAP S/4HANA and Digital Platforms.
Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale SAP implementations and digital transformation initiatives.
Strong business acumen and the ability to align technology initiatives with corporate strategy.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Experience managing diverse teams and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Demonstrated analytical skills and problem-solving abilities with a results-oriented mindset.
Project Management: Experience leading large projects, particularly those aimed at aligning technology solutions with business needs. Leading cross-functional teams to implement software or system solutions that address specific business challenges.
Business Process Acumen: Facilitating workshops or meetings with business leaders, multiple departments to understand processes, challenges, data and technology requirements. Defining project scopes and objectives.
Business Analysis: Conducted needs assessments to identify gaps in current technology that impede business operations. Developed business cases or requirements documentation to support technology investments.
Strategic Planning: Leading or significant contributor to the development of IT strategy aligned with overall business strategy, including digital transformation initiatives.
Vendor Management: Negotiating contracts and managing service level agreements (SLAs) with technology providers; implementation of service agreements, software, applications with third-party vendors.
Systems Integration: Experience integrating IT systems with business applications to enhance workflows and data accessibility. Knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems or customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Leading a team or utilizing data analytics tools to generate reports that inform business decisions and measure the effectiveness of IT initiatives. Implementing business intelligence solutions to provide stakeholders with insights into performance metrics.
IT Governance and Compliance: Understanding regulatory requirements and ensuring that technology solutions comply with industry standards. Developing and enforcing IT governance policies to mitigate risks related to technology investments.
Support collaboration with business leaders to identify strategic technology needs and opportunities that align with organizational goals.
Support analysis of market trends and emerging technologies to recommend solutions that enhance business performance and competitive edge.
Lead cross-functional teams to define approved project scopes, objectives, timelines, and budgets for technology initiatives.
Monitor the progress of approved technology projects and ensure alignment with business strategies and objectives.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, security and best practices in SAP S/4 HANA and Digital Platforms, project lifecycle, including planning, execution, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
Ensure integration of existing and future IT systems, applications, processes, and frameworks of approved projects.
Manage established budgets for SAP S/4HANA and digital initiatives, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial goals.
Support strategic planning sessions to lead to the formulation of technology-focused business strategies.
Provide insights and data-driven recommendations to executive leadership regarding technology investments and priorities.
