We are looking for a professional who can research product regulations as well as develop and implement related compliance actions in particular, to better serve our Brazilian customers.
In this position, you will perform in-depth research into a variety of Brazil and international regulations, advise legal and business teams on your findings and proposed actions, and coordinate across multiple teams and technological tools for implementation once a decision is made.
Key job responsibilities
- Help determine the availability of product types (what should be prohibited for legal or safety reasons)
- Interact with external (regulators, selling partners, customers) and internal (legal, business, compliance) stakeholders
- Engage with new technologies and identify and implement initiatives to continuously improve controls
- Drive resolution of difficult compliance solutions and escalations with multiple stakeholders
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
- Ability to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional teams
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through, and meet deadlines
