Job Description As an SEO & Content Executive, you will work across regulated markets, optimising website structure and producing regular content to improve search engine rankings. Playing a pivotal role within the Marketing team, you will work across multiple departments to drive best‑in‑class organic search results for the Company. Close coordination with Content, Development, Outreach and Paid Marketing teams is essential for supporting continued organic growth. We are looking for a sports fan who is comfortable with writing and optimising both news and evergreen content, briefing new pages as well as having a core interest in SEO. With experience in analysing numerical data and presenting insights, you will combine content writing and SEO expertise to create engaging and informative content, by working closely and collaboratively with the wider Editorial Content team. You will also be responsible for implementing and developing SEO strategies, monitoring performance for the Brazilian market, and keeping up to date with search engine algorithm changes. Qualifications Excellent communication skills in Portuguese and English, both verbal and written Competent with key web and analytics tools, such as GA4, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs and Sitebulb. Demonstrated history of driving business results through organic optimisations across multiple languages and markets. Knowledge in technical SEO, in particular indexing and crawling is desired. Awareness of the concepts of Semantic Search, Entity‑Oriented Search and LLMs. Experience analysing numerical data, statistics and presenting and visualising the data to the business using Excel, Google Sheets and Looker Studio. Ability to combine content writing and SEO expertise, creating content that is optimised for search engines while also being engaging and informative for users. Experience in sports news‑based content creation and news SEO is desired. Ability to create high‑quality, engaging, and informative sports content, including blogs, social media posts, sports articles, website copy and other content formats. CV to be submitted in English. Additional Information Keeping up‑to‑date and ahead of the sporting calendar across all genres and fields, with an understanding of how to apply this within the context of the gambling industry. Implementing and developing SEO strategies. Monitoring performance for the Brazilian market and identifying potential issues and opportunities. Assisting with the delivery of SEO audits across the Company’s Sport, Gaming, News and Content sites across all TLDs. Performing keyword and topic research with an organic focus, combining the data with the pre‑existing paid data and existing content available to feed into relevant teams. Combining competitor analysis with query data from leading partners to refine our strategy on an ongoing basis. Monitoring the algorithms set by the search engines to keep up to date with changes. Working with the content team through structured data opportunities and ensuring relevant content is displayed for queries. Delivering content creation, setting process, managing content calendars and ensuring content aligns with overall marketing objectives. Optimising content and regularly writing sports articles on the website.
