**Tasks and Responsibilities**Overview:Setup the Finance function in Brazil and managing a Finance team an outsource accounting vendor.**Financial Reporting & Analysis**:- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities- Budgeting & Forecasting:- Support the preparation and monitoring of budgets and forecasts.- Collaborate with business units to ensure alignment with financial goals.**Internal Controls & Compliance**:- Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.- Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.**Accounts Management**:- Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger reconciliation processes.- Work closely with outsourced accountants (if applicable) to ensure accurate financial records, and working towards setting up a finance team to replace outsourced accountants**Process Improvement**:- Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance financial processes.- Implement best practices for efficiency and accuracy in reporting.**Team Support**- Step into the Finance Manager's role during absences or as needed.**Preferred Experience**- 5+ years of experience in financial management or a similar role.- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial regulations, and ERP systems (SAP preferred).- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial modeling.- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.**Personal Attributes**- High level of integrity and attention to detail.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (English and Portuguese)- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.- Proactive and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.**Education and Key certifications necessary**- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.- Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) are preferred.
