Job Description The Open Video project is a cutting-edge initiative focusing on the development of an Over-the-Top (OTT) platform for a prominent North American television provider. We are seeking an experienced and skilled software developer to work on software development projects for client hardware platforms based on Android OS. Main Responsibilities: Develop innovative embedded software solutions for Set-Top Box hardware using the latest technologies and methodologies. Provide expert technical guidance to developers working on integration and development projects. Coordinate the development process for Set-Top Box projects across various hardware platforms. Evaluate operational monitoring processes and dashboards using IT operations analytics and log analysis tools. Collaborate with systems analysts, software architects, developers, and project management teams to ensure successful project outcomes. Administer and prevent issues using issue tracking, team collaboration, and planning tools. Publish detailed technical hand-off and training documentation. Key Skills and Qualifications Proficiency in developing embedded software engineering projects for Set-Top Box hardware. Strong technical knowledge of Android OS and its associated technologies. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Able to evaluate and improve operational monitoring processes and dashboards.
