Professional Services Consultant - Data Security Proofpoint is a leader in human‑centric cybersecurity, protecting half a million customers, including 87 of the Fortune 100. About the Role The Professional Services Consultant will oversee implementations and consultative engagements for Proofpoint Data Security products, including DSPM, ITM, Email DLP, Endpoint DLP, CASB, AAC, and Proofpoint Isolation. The Consultant will develop new services, implement best practices, and assist in customer escalations. The role requires ensuring successful service delivery and customer success, mapping technology to organizational processes, and delivering measurable results. Your Day‑to‑Day Scope engagements by assessing client operations and business processes, gathering requirements, and recommending Proofpoint technologies. Provide strategic program design to identify, protect, monitor, and manage protected data and people. Work with Professional Services, Support, Engineering, and Product teams to address concerns and manage escalations. Collaborate with the sales organization to meet customer needs and maintain high satisfaction. Present updates to management on risks, challenges, and proposed solutions. Qualifications Working understanding of IT consulting or related fields. Basic familiarity with Data Loss Prevention, Endpoint Security, or Cloud Security concepts. Basic understanding of cloud applications. Exposure to Microsoft or Symantec DLP solutions is desirable. Preferred experience in customer‑facing role. Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Commitment to exceptional client service, confident in person and virtual engagement. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and follow through to completion.
