Statutory Compliance ManagerHypertherm Associates’ Statutory Compliance Manager is a new role, a highly impactful role, for the Tax team. Check outthis videoto learn more about what it is like to work at Hypertherm as an Associate-Owner.As a Statutory Compliance Manager, you are responsible to:- Work with PwC to ensure all indirect tax filings/payments are completed timely and accurately- Prepare and file tax and accounting returns and maintain the ERP statutory ledger in accordance with Brazilian GAAP- Act as a tax consultant to internal teams and external customers- Support the Treasury team in entity level cash-flow forecasting- Complete monthly close of statutory accounting books and support for US GAAP book close- Coordinate and liaise with external parties like tax advisors (PwC), corporate secretarial agents, local tax and government authorities- Oversee (with external consultants) maintenance of tax reporting tool (GSF)- Manage Account SpecialistWho you are and the experience you will bring:- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with 5+ years’ experience- CRC- Fluent in English- Excellent knowledge of Brazilian CPC- A self-starter who is able to plan, organize, and take initiative to meet job objectives and deadlines independently- Well-versed in MS Office, especially MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word- Experience with an ERP systemPreferred experience to differentiate you:- Large public accounting firm experience- Master’s degree in Finance/Tax/BusinessLocation: Brazil (Hybrid)Why join Hypertherm?- Collaborative, 100% employee-owned culture- Profit-Sharing and Global Stock Value Program (GSVP)- Paid Community Service Time- Strong commitment to Environmental Stewardship- Stable, growing organization with a no-layoff philosophyLI-MJ1
