The Opportunity We are looking for an experienced engineer to join the Cybersecurity/IT Engineering team as a full-time Manager of IT. The ideal candidate supports end users, manages endpoints, automates identity and access management, and administers cloud-based IT systems and tools. A successful candidate will have demonstrated prior success in similar roles within rapidly growing, security-first environments. The right person is passionate about automation, scripting, and building infrastructure as code, and is excited to design, implement and manage our growing cloud-first infrastructure and networks. You will work closely with Cybersecurity/IT peers and key stakeholder teams including Customer Success, Marketing, Engineering and HR. You will be a strong communicator and fast learner, seeking a supportive environment to grow your IT skills and expertise. This role reports to the Director of IT. What You’ll Do / Responsibilities Be customer-facing and the first line of support for employees via Slack, Jira, and other channels. Pro­cure and deliver technology equipment and own the tech onboarding and offboarding experience. Design, test, build, and document programs, policies and tools; contribute improvements to existing knowledge bases. Support and manage SaaS applications (Google Workspace, Slack, Jamf Pro/Protect/Connect, Okta, Jira, etc.). Manage Mac endpoints and mobile device management tools (MDM/EMM, Jamf, etc.). Improve IDP and SSO tooling (GSuite, Okta, etc.) and document solutions; automate routine work. Lead incident response for critical issues and manage tickets with prioritization and escalation as needed. Work on projects across sprints with agile methodologies and track work in Jira. Set and pursue objectives and key results aligned to team and company goals. What You Bring to Ledn 7+ years in SaaS systems administration (e.g., Jamf Pro, Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, Jira, Netsuite). Ability to create automations using Bash, Zsh, Python, etc.; experience with open source tools (Nudge, CIS Benchmark scripts, SplashBuddy, Munki, etc.). Experience integrating SSO into Okta and building workflows; strong API integration skills. Remote support experience across multiple countries/time zones; capable of hardware shipping/receiving and customs. Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain complex concepts clearly and empathetically. Proficiency in security practices, PGP basics, networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing/switching); methodical troubleshooting following OSI layers. Self-management skills to scope projects and work across multiple teams. Nice to Have / Preferred Qualifications Some familiarity with AWS; experience using GAM and CLI for efficiency.
