The **Associate** **Structural Design Engineer** will join Boeing Commercial Aircraft Structure team who provide support for the primary and secondary structure of the 7 series Boeing Fleets.**Position Responsibilities:*** Guides product design, develops, integrates and documents structural and interior payload requirements to establish the system design.* Develops, maintains and modifies structural and component designs, using 3-D Computer Aided Design tools and/or other design methods, to provide product definition to other engineering groups, production operations, suppliers and external customers throughout the product lifecycle.* Develops new design/analysis processes and tools to improve the effectiveness, quality and efficiency of the development effort.* Investigates emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements.**This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.****Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.****Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):*** Must have existing rights to work in Brazil.* Must have a degree in Mechanical, Aerospace / Aeronautical, Civil, or Material Science Engineering.* Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA).* Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language**Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):*** Relevant experience with validating or verifying structural models.* Relevant experience with structural design principles for aircraft.* Relevant experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).* Relevant experience with design and analysis of metallic and/or composite materials.* Programming Skills.**Relocation:**Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
