Job Overview We are seeking a senior engineer to lead our reservoir simulation team. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires a strong understanding of reservoir engineering concepts and enhanced recovery methods. The successful candidate will work with clients to understand their needs and provide high-level technical support and expertise. They will also be responsible for delivering high-quality consulting, support, and training services to end users and customers in a global setting. This role offers an opportunity to develop broad knowledge and expertise in simulating various enhanced oil and gas recovery processes, including conventional, unconventional, thermal, chemical, compositional, and energy transition reservoir studies. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years of experience in the field and excellent technical and communication skills. They will also be able to work independently with minimal supervision and have very good time management and communication skills in English. Key Responsibilities: Lead the reservoir simulation team and deliver high-quality results on time and within budget. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers within the team. Act as a subject matter expert in reservoir simulation and provide guidance and expertise on complex projects and challenging technical issues. Build and maintain strong client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor and consultant on reservoir simulation matters. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery. Required Skills and Qualifications: Civil Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Geology post-secondary degree or related graduate or post-graduate degree. Strong understanding of reservoir engineering concepts and enhanced recovery methods. Excellent technical and communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Very good time management and communication skills in English. Familiarity with state-of-the-art engineering software and hands-on experience with CMG simulation software or any other reservoir simulator.
