Consultant - Esg & Impact Assessment (Mid-level)

ERM is seeking a Consultant - ESG & Impact Assessment (mid-level) to join our Sustainable Finance team in Brazil.

**Responsibilities**:
- Play a leading technical role in delivering ESG advice to investors and financial institutions-
- Assess the ESG (and/or Impact) performance of companies, assets, financial instruments or policy interventions, using both qualitative and quantitative approaches-
- Manage workstreams or smaller projects, reporting internally to Team Leaders and Partners and externally to client representatives-
- Execute complex technical tasks within client projects-
- Lead meetings and presentations to clients-
- Write technical reports and prepare executive presentations-
- Guide analysts and researchers and review their deliverables-
- Contribute with improvement of methodologies and approaches of service offerings**Requirements**:
- Previous experience with Sustainable Finance including at least 2 years of experience in a consulting or investment role delivering technical ESG assessments to investors OR 4 years of experience in ESG / Impact assessments in academic environment-
- Strong knowledge of ESG factors and ESG frameworks, such as SASB, PCAF, Impact Management, IFC PS, ICMA Principles, EU Taxonomy-
- Familiarity with financial markets and financial instruments-
- Excellent writing skills in Portuguese-
- Advanced level of English required; fluency desired to join international projects-
- Advanced user of the MS Office suite, mainly Power Point and Excel; Power BI and other data visualization software are a plus-
- Academic background in engineering, business or economic fields; post-graduation in ESG related disciplines is a plusBackground:
