**About the Team**:
As a Market Analyst for our Safety and Integrity (S&I) team, you will work to keep TikTok safe by improving our ability to address emerging market risks and escalations, discovering unknown risks, and proactively removing bad content. Market Analysts will provide critical market-level analysis and understanding so that S&I can increase its impact, drive more strategic direction, and improve transparency within and outside of T&S.
It is possible that this role will be exposed to harmful content as part of the core role/as part of project/ in response to escalation requests/by chance. Some content viewed may violate our community guidelines which include but are not limited to bullying; hate speech; child abuse; sexual assault; torture; bestiality; self-harm; suicide; murder.
**Responsibilities**:
- Driving improvements to key metrics by performing routine analysis of content and market health data to improve topline metrics. These analyses may include: a) Collection of suspected bad cases reported to S&I; b) Evaluating market-level trends and insights; c) Understanding region UX, as well as gaps in our moderation, model, keywords and discoverability;
- Working cross-functionally to increase our ability to mitigate and reduce the impact of emerging risks within Brazil;
- Partner with Trust and Safety teams to identify gaps, find high-impact opportunities to improve processes, and work collaboratively to tackle them;
- Take enforcement actions, perform proactive sweeps, and remove bad trends;
- Develop and own projects with support from Safety & Integrity colleagues to improve safety on TikTok.
**Qualifications**:
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- Previous work experience in Trust and Safety / Online Safety / Content Moderation or related industries;
- Experience with analyzing data and working with policy teams;
- Experience with Root Cause Analysis and reporting;
- Team player and ability to collaborate with different teams;
- Proficient in Excel / G Sheets;
- Basic Project Management skills
- Mandatory English professional proficiency.
