Overview

Pure is looking for a Direct Response Copywriter to join our team. As our creative head, you will be responsible for the ideation, scripting, planning, and managing of the entire creative process with a focus on UGC ads and psychology-based creatives for paid marketing channels.

We are looking to hire someone with 3+ years of work experience. The ideal candidate has experience creating paid advertisements for Meta platforms, UGC, direct response marketing, with bonus points for experience in influencer or UGC partnerships.

Key Objectives
  • Manage the full creative process from scripting to final creative to produce high converting creatives on an ongoing basis.
  • Work with the content manager to source and manage new content for all marketing channels.
  • Drive measurable improvements in core advertising metrics through better creatives.
  • Script UGC direct response creatives.
  • Use data from creative performance on Meta to dissect and improve creatives and performance across the portfolio.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to generate new creative concepts and ideas.
  • Conduct strategic customer and competitor research to optimize creative efforts.
  • Provide monthly and quarterly creative performance reports.
  • Decide on steps to scale Meta ads through improved creative.
Requirements
  • Fully remote
  • Fluent in English
  • Direct Response expertise with 3+ years experience in performance creative for DTC brands or a creative agency
  • Proficiency in performance analytics tools such as Triple Whale, Motion, pitch decks, and spreadsheets to present ideas and outcomes
  • Experience creating briefs for UGC creators to produce high converting content across paid channels
  • Creative and analytical mindset; ability to generate fresh ideas, write scripts, shot lists, and make data driven decisions based on ad performance
  • Willing to work overtime or weekends if needed; highly motivated and passionate about the work
  • Excellent cultural fit with our values

Accountabilities
  • Brainstorm and pitch weekly ad ideas aligned with direct response principles
  • Write 80-100 high converting ad scripts per week for Meta platforms
  • Generate static ad concepts on a weekly basis
  • Analyze performance metrics to derive actionable insights for future campaigns
  • Collaborate with editors and designers to ensure ads are visually compelling and on brand
  • Adapt ad strategies to capitalize on emerging internet trends and consumer behaviors
  • Present performance analyses and creative strategies to the marketing team
  • Continuously refine ad concepts and troubleshoot underperforming campaigns to maximize ROI
  • Iterate on winning ads to produce more winning assets for better ROI
How we hire and operate

We define KPIs and targets during the hiring process to remove ambiguity about performance after you start.

Our process includes an initial soft interview, a technical interview with the head of marketing, a test project, and a final interview to assess culture fit. We aim to hire within about 8 to 10 days after interviews and provide timely updates to applicants.

For this role, we will share the long term vision and opportunities, show the current structure, and explain the path ahead.

Salary expectation

USD 36,000 to 70,000 per year plus a performance bonus structure based on experience and expertise.
