Ready to Transform the Future of Retail Banking Infrastructure?

Join JLL as an Engineering Program Director for our Retail Banking Portfolio. In this fully remote role, you\'ll orchestrate game-changing programs across our engineering verticals from anywhere in the US.

This role includes up to 20% travel across the US, offering the perfect blend of remote flexibility and hands-on engagement with our nationwide retail banking portfolio.

This isn\'t your typical engineering management position; you\'ll be the strategic mastermind behind critical facility operations, data governance initiatives, and cross-functional program execution that directly impacts major retail banking operations. From managing multi-million dollar portfolios and leading emergency response protocols to creating executive-level dashboards and driving engineering efficiency initiatives, you\'ll wear many hats while collaborating with diverse stakeholders.

Check out some of your day:

  • Driving the planning, coordination, and execution of programs that span several verticals within the JLL Engineering group.
  • Working with key stakeholders, business and technical leaders to align functional solutions and execute a plan for programs, including data management, data governance, data quality, strategy alignment, along with reporting and analytics.
  • Continuous Improvement: Detect systematic issues, process problems, and other risks and work with the appropriate colleagues to find resolutions.
  • Proactively manage assigned projects/programs to ensure milestones are achieved within plan, including communication, status reporting, resource management, change management, removing roadblocks, and conflicts resolution.
  • Manages and monitors project budget resources, deliverables, quality, forecasting, milestones, and scopes of work.
  • Tracking and reporting of key milestones and business metrics; creating data visualizations and dashboard summaries for executive-level management.
  • Own and execute implementation plans for defined engineering programs designed for increasing engineering efficiency and productivity.
  • Ownership and management of engineering operations and maintenance of all building systems for the portfolio.
  • Serve as SME for engineering-related projects and support the IFM team as a trusted advisor to ensure PM programs are completed on time and efficiently.
  • Ensure maintenance of facility electrical, mechanical, structural, life safety, and critical back-up systems to maximize uptime.
  • Inform FM and client stakeholder teams of conditions affecting system operations and reliability. Areas include program management, procedure development, and tracking of operational indices.

Here is who we are looking for:

Required

  • 5+ years in commercial facility operations
  • Extensive mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire suppression system knowledge of commercial/critical facilities
  • Managerial experience of direct and indirect reports. Ability to get peers on board through vision sharing and trust.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well in both oral and written reports.
  • Fundamental skills in critical systems such as emergency/stand-by generators, HVAC systems, and BAS/BMS technologies.
  • Ability to respond 24/7 as needed outside of time off requests in the event of emergencies and business-impacting incidents.
