**Role Accountability**
The Senior Manager of IS for Latin America is responsible for leveraging and delivering digital IS solutions and services to support Lubrizol's Latin American business to achieve its security, cyber and operational excellence objectives.
**Essential Job Functions**
This strategic position communicates clearly, openly and frequently with senior management in Latin America, other Lubrizol businesses, corporate functions and external groups. This position requires significant management experience.
- Lead the Information Technology division in Latin America, with presence in Brazil and Mexico:
- Represent the Information Technology division in the Global IT Organization.
- Align and deliver the global IT strategy in Latin America.
- Ensuring that IT initiatives are aligned with business initiatives.
- Be an information technology advisor for the region's leadership.
- Coaching and performance evaluation meetings.
- Review of technical training.
- Definition of business objectives and development planning.
- Establish and monitor performance standards and expectations.
- Create, execute, adjust and monitor information technology project plans to support Lubrizol Latin America's strategy.
- Manage IT and user support infrastructure in 2 countries, 6 sites, 400 users and 700 client devices.
- Manage SAP business process demands, mostly related to Brazil and Mexico locations.
- Deliver, protect and maintain the physical and cyber security of sites and site plans.
- Direct the annual budget of approximately $2 million while managing expenses;
- Achieve financial goals by determining the required level of service.
- Implement corrective actions in the budget.
- Prepare and manage annual IT budget for region, OPEX and CAPEX.
- Review expenses, analyzing variances and implementing corrective actions
- Oversee the information solutions provider's management plan.
- Partnership with the Legal team to review contract services.
- Purchasing and supplier relationship management and performance analysis.

Required Qualifications
Education / Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Fluency in English is essential. Basic or intermediate Spanish.
- Leadership training and certificates are an advantage.
- Cobit, ITIL and PMP certificates are different.
- Solid technical training in IT is a differential (IT Infra, SAP ERP, Project Management or Cyber Security).
**Experience**:
- More than 7 years in IT infrastructure management and/or SAP and/or physical/cybernetic security.
- Experience in project portfolio management is an advantage.
- Knowledge of industry-standard IT and cybersecurity standards an advantage.
- Experience supporting Microsoft's backend infrastructure is an advantage.
- International experience and multi-disciplinary leadership are a differential.
