Job Opportunity: Data Platform Architect We are seeking an experienced Data Platform Architect to design, implement, and evolve our large-scale distributed data platform for customer deployments and enterprise programs. Key Responsibilities: Design and architect the end-to-end data platform across on-prem, hybrid, and cloud environments based on customer requirements and limitations. Develop and maintain integration standards adopted by all implementation teams. Lead Architecture Review Boards (ARBs) and internal security/governance reviews to ensure alignment with enterprise standards. Mentor platform engineers and developers through patterns, templates, and technical guidance. Oversee the selection, integration, and tuning of open-source components such as Airflow, Spark, Trino, YuniKorn, Superset, S3, NiFi, Ranger, and DataHub. Requirements: 8–12 years of experience designing or implementing large-scale distributed data platforms in regulated industries. Proven track record as a technical architect or lead engineer at Cloudera, Databricks, AWS EMR, or similar open-source platform providers. Hands-on experience integrating and operating open-source data tools across hybrid-cloud and containerized environments. Strong understanding of enterprise governance and security frameworks (SOX, FFIEC, GDPR). Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills to influence architecture decisions across engineering and client teams.
