Primary Responsibilities- Support grid-scale BESS projects, developing layouts, diagrams, and detailed design packages.
- Evaluate energy storage technologies, support client vendor selection and implementation.
- Design for microgrid and distributed energy resources projects.
- Develop and review engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Assist clients with use-case identification and implementation for energy storage systems.
- Convey technical concepts through reports to diverse audiences.
- Coordinate with civil, structural, FLS, high-voltage electrical, SCADA/telecom, water, and geotechnical engineers.
- Participate in design reviews and develop internal design guidelines.
- Conduct quality assurance on electrical work.
- Support construction activities, including bid reviews, RFIs, and change orders.
- Engage in meetings for business development and project progress.
- Manage workload to meet schedules.
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical support.
- Bachelor's in Electrical or Architectural Engineering (Electrical emphasis).
- PE license.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in BESS, renewables, or power systems design.
- Knowledge of BESS technologies and integration into power facilities.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SKM, Easy Power, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication and multi-project management skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.
