If you’re looking for a place to grow, make an impact, and work with people who care, we’d love to meet you About the roleAs a Middle/Senior Python Integration Engineer , you’ll play a key role in building and maintaining scalable, high‑quality integrations that enable smooth client onboarding and efficient product delivery. You’ll collaborate with Solution Architects and engineering teams to ensure reliability, automation, and technical consistency, while gaining hands‑on experience with APIs, Python scripting, and cloud‑based integration workflows in a fast‑growing, innovative environment. This is a short‑term project (2‑3 months) with a possibility of extension , offering you the chance to make a tangible impact within a dynamic and forward‑thinking team. What you will doBuild, configure, connect, and maintain a high volume of integrations using Merge’s platform Write lightweight Python scripts and glue code for automation and data transformation Build and support APIs and integration endpoints Ensure technical consistency, scalability, and maintainability across integrations Collaborate with Solution Architects, Delivery Managers, and Merge’s internal engineering teams Document integration processes and best practices Must‑haves3+ years of professional experience with Python and Django , with the ability to read and write clean, modular code Understanding of AI, LLMs, tool‑calling, and prompt engineering concepts and MCP servers Solid understanding of REST APIs and common integration patterns Strong experience in unit, integration testing and debugging integrations Experience integrating 3rd‑party APIs , including external systems and authentication patterns Experience working with databases (SQL or NoSQL) Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in distributed teams High sense of ownership and accountability Proven track record of attention to detail in QA and debugging Upper‑intermediate English level Nice‑to‑havesFamiliarity with cloud platforms (preferably AWS) Experience with integration platforms, API management , or ETL tools Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Familiarity with webhooks, OAuth, and data mapping/transformation workflows Perks and benefitsProfessional growth: Accelerate your professional journey with mentorship, TechTalks, and personalized growth roadmaps Competitive compensation: USD‑based compensation and budgets for education, fitness, and team activities A selection of exciting projects: Join projects with modern solutions development and top‑tier clients, including Fortune 500 enterprises and leading product brands Flextime: Tailor your schedule for an optimal work‑life balance, with options to work from home and in the office #J-18808-Ljbffr
