Purpose of the Role We’re seeking an experienced senior Software Engineer to architect and develop a next-generation iGaming product for both mobile and desktop. The ideal candidate will spearhead technical design, oversee the development lifecycle, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a high-quality, robust, and innovative gaming experience. Role and Responsibilities Development: Lead the architecture and development of a high-performance, scalable iGaming product for both mobile and desktop web. Technical Leadership: Provide technical strategy, direction, and guidance on best practices in software design, architecture, and implementation. Collaboration: Coordinate with all stakeholders, including product management, design, and platform teams to ensure timely, high-quality releases. Drive Code Quality: Implement and enforce coding standards, conduct code reviews, and champion best practices in security and performance. Project Scoping and Planning: Work closely with stakeholders to define roadmaps, estimate timelines, and manage project priorities. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging frameworks, and technologies relevant to the iGaming space. Work Experience and Skills Essential Experience 10+ years of hands-on software development experience with a proven track record of designing and building high-performance, customer-facing web applications. Proven track record in developing and maintaining casino game backend systems or game engines. Hands-on experience integrating third-party RNG providers and other essential iGaming services. Strong experience with distributed systems and microservice architectures. Essential Skills: Tech Stack Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of modern frameworks (React, TypeScript, Next.js, or similar), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and databases (SQL/NoSQL). Mobile & Desktop Development: Proven experience delivering responsive, cross-platform web experiences. Leadership Skills: Experience mentoring engineers and cultivating high-performance environments. Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities.
