Overview Senior Solutions Architect (USD 8-9K/month CONTRACTOR). Location: São Paulo, Hybrid. Employment type: PJ. The role requires strong solution design and architecture experience across banking/financial services, with responsibilities spanning architecture governance, solution delivery, and stakeholder engagement. Responsibilities Provide technical solutions to business needs across the technology stack (database, backend, integration, UX). Produce concise, accurate solution designs subject to architecture governance, aligned with architectural strategy and business requirements. Engage with senior business and IT stakeholders; present architecture deliverables to governance forums such as Architecture Review Boards and Design Authorities. Author architecture deliverables like High-Level Designs, non-functional requirements, system use-cases, and integration patterns. Design and implement scalable and maintainable software systems; ensure cloud-based solutions are cost-effective, scalable, and secure. Demonstrate proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#) and familiarity with frameworks (Spring, Django, ASP.NET MVC). Understand software design principles, patterns, and data modelling concepts; work with relational and NoSQL databases; design data management solutions that are efficient, scalable, and secure. Design cloud architectures on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP; understand cloud infrastructure components (VMs, containers, storage); implement CI/CD pipelines; utilize infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef). Demonstrate knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, Ethernet, Wi-Fi) and network security principles; implement security controls and comply with security standards and regulatory requirements. Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies (AI, ML, blockchain); evaluate their impact and explore opportunities to incorporate them into solutions. Deliver outputs at varying levels of detail, from conceptual to concrete technical designs; support pre-engagement activities and digital deployment engagements as required. Qualifications 5+ years of solution design and architecture experience in banking/financial services. Strong knowledge of architectural modelling tools/frameworks (EA Sparx, C4 model, TOGAF beneficial). Experience delivering architecture deliverables and presenting to governance forums. Portuguese (Native) with good English proficiency; Spanish (Optional). Bachelor’s degree required. Ability to rapidly implement solutions in client environments; ability to communicate effectively with executives and solution architects. Experience with cloud and security practices, data management, and integration patterns.
