OverviewSummary of position and objectives: The Release Manager role will be responsible for deploying builds across the environment, on-boarding new environment, handling transversal projects and creating release management related documents and sharing release plans with the stakeholders. ResponsibilitiesManage risks and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality. Facilitate release activities across all releases, ensuring quality and timely deployments across environments. Maintain the release schedule for all core services and ensure alignment across key partners and vendors. Coordinate release content and effort based on the service request backlog, pending service requests, third party applications, or operating system updates. Communicate all key project plans, commitments, and changes including QA plans, schedule, and scope changes. Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews with stakeholders. Produce Deployment, Run Books and Implementation Plans. Participate in CAB meetings to present Production changes (RFCs). Lead and coordinate the Go-Live activities including the execution of the deployment plans and checklists. Weekly Release Reporting with Program Release Manager. Own and continually improve the release process by documenting release issues and developing plans to improve processes, with a view to automation where appropriate. Interact with people across hierarchical levels to ensure smooth project execution and manage complex projects. Qualifications and Experience RequiredEnglish language is mandatory to collaborate in a global environment, including writing, speaking and presenting. Understanding of Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration (CD/CI) pipelines. Good understanding of cloud deployment, preferably Azure and Agile practice. Knowledge of deployment tools such as Octopus. Knowledge of MS Project, Excel-Macros. Document management to adhere to audit compliance process is an added advantage. 4 to 5 years of relevant release and deployment management experience. Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion. Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills. Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
