Senior Java Software Engineer Position

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and developing scalable, efficient, and secure software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software components;
  • Maintain existing software systems and infrastructure;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements;
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers;
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficiency in Backend Java development and Spring Boot framework;
  • Experience with automated testing in Java (e.g., Unit Test, Integration Test);
  • Solid experience with Python programming language;
  • Strong front-end development skills, especially with React or other Single-Page Application frameworks;
  • Experience with Typescript and its application in large-scale projects;
  • Understanding of Microservices Architecture and its implementation;
  • Experience working with relational and non-relational databases, such as Postgres and MongoDB;
  • Practical knowledge of Git and CI/CD practices, preferably with GitHub Actions or Jenkins;
  • Excellent communication skills in English.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with GraphQL and its use in API design;
  • Knowledge of agile development methodologies and their application;
  • Familiarity with message brokers like RabbitMQ or Amazon SQS;
  • Utilization of monitoring tools for troubleshooting and logging purposes.
