Senior Java Software Engineer Position
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and developing scalable, efficient, and secure software applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software components;
- Maintain existing software systems and infrastructure;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements;
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers;
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Essential Skills:
- Proficiency in Backend Java development and Spring Boot framework;
- Experience with automated testing in Java (e.g., Unit Test, Integration Test);
- Solid experience with Python programming language;
- Strong front-end development skills, especially with React or other Single-Page Application frameworks;
- Experience with Typescript and its application in large-scale projects;
- Understanding of Microservices Architecture and its implementation;
- Experience working with relational and non-relational databases, such as Postgres and MongoDB;
- Practical knowledge of Git and CI/CD practices, preferably with GitHub Actions or Jenkins;
- Excellent communication skills in English.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with GraphQL and its use in API design;
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies and their application;
- Familiarity with message brokers like RabbitMQ or Amazon SQS;
- Utilization of monitoring tools for troubleshooting and logging purposes.
